Watches/warnings: There are no watches or warnings in effect at this time. At 11:00 AM AST (1200 UTC), the center of Tropical Storm Harvey was located near latitude 13.1 North, longitude 61.3 West. Harvey is moving toward the west near 33 km/h (18 kt), and this general motion is expected to continue for the next couple of days with minor fluctuations. The center of Harvey should pass on the forecast track, to the north of Aruba at approximately 155 km on Saturday late afternoon into the evening. Tropical storm wind conditions are not expected; currently, the risk is estimated mostly at 10%.

Effect on local conditions

Winds: East to Northeast, 10-15 kt . Saturday in the course of the morning and during afternoon temporarily variable, 03-05 kt. During Saturday evening becoming east to southeast, 12-18 kt. During showers gusts to 25 kt.

Southern Coastal Area: Slight to moderate, 2-4 ft.
Northern Coastal Area: Moderate to locally quite rough, 4 to 8 feet

Rainfall: During the overnight of Saturday to Sunday morning occasional showers with a rainfall amount of 5 to 15 mm, locally more. No significant flooding is expected. The shower activity will decrease during Sunday afternoon to evening.
