TROPICAL CYCLONE HARVEY BULLETIN NO. 3

INFORMATION MESSAGE NO. 3

Watches/warnings: There are no watches or warnings in effect at this time.
At 11:00 AM AST (1500 UTC), the center of Tropical Storm Harvey was located
near latitude 13.9 North, longitude 68.1 West; this is 205 km NNE of Curacao,
255 km of NE Aruba. Harvey is moving toward the west near 35 km/h (19 kt),
and this general motion is expected to continue for the next day or two with
minor fluctuations in direction and slowly increasing in intensity.
The center of Harvey should pass on the forecast track, to the north of
Aruba at approximately 165 km late this afternoon . Tropical storm wind conditions are not expected.

Effect on local conditions:
Winds: North- Northeast,becoming North- Northwest in the afternoon, 10 – 15 knots; at times Variable, 03-05 knots . During Sunday becoming East- Southeast, 10-15 knots gusting to 27 knots.

Seas during period of Saturday 19, 11:00 AM until Sunday, 20 06:00 PM :
Southern Coastal Areas: Slight to moderate, 2-4 feet.
Northern Coastal Areas: Moderate to locally quite rough, 4 to 8 feet

Rainfall: During Saturday during daylight hours still chance of some passing showers, diminishing into the evening and Sunday morning. Rainfall amount of 5 to 15 mm are expected, locally more. No significant flooding is expected.
