Local forecast:
The ridge of the Atlantic high pressure system will
sustain breezy conditions and a strong to possibly
near gale force wind in gusts. Otherwise, a westward
moving tropical wave currently in the eastern part
of the Caribbean, will induce some moisture in the
region. This can lead to briefly cloudy periods
with a passing shower during the morning hours.
Moreover, a light to moderate concentration of
Saharan Dust will induce slightly hazy skies.

Marine conditions:
Smooth to slight seas are in place on the protected
south sites. Slight to moderate seas are noted on
the exposed south sides with seas of around 2 feet.
Generally moderate seas are noted over the east to
northwest coastal areas.

WINDS : FROM GENERALLY EAST DIRECTIONS AT 15
TO 23 KNOTS WITH HIGHER GUSTS

WEATHER : PARTLY CLOUDY SKIES WITH A BRIEF SHOWER

VISIBILITY: 15 TO 20 KM IN SLIGHTLY HAZY SKIES

WAVE HEIGHT:
-IN SHELTERED OR PROTECTED AREAS: AROUND 1 FOOT
-IN PROTECTED SOUTH SECTIONS: 1 TO 2 FEET.
-ON THE EXPOSED SOUTH SIDES: AROUND 2 FEET
-OVER OPEN WATERS: 4 TO 6 FEET ON THE
NORTH FACING SECTIONS

WAVE DIRECTION : FROM THE NORTHEAST

WAVE PERIOD : 6 SECONDS
