Marine Forecast valid from 16/04/2026 to 17/04/2026
...CARIBBEAN SEA & LOCAL REGION...
Local forecast:
A loose pressure gradient will support gentle
to moderate winds that can become fresh during
gusts. Otherwise, a disturbance in the lower
to upper levels will induce abundant moisture
in the region. This will lead to cloudy periods
that can produce a few showers during this
forecast period. There is a chance of an
isolated moderate to locally heavy shower.
Moreover, a slight to moderate concentration
of the Sahara Dust Plume will invade the
region during the next few days, leading
to restricted visibilities.
Smooth seas are in place on the protected sites.
Slight seas are noted on the protected south
sections. Slight seas are observed on the
exposed south sides. Moderate seas are noted
over the east to northwest coastal waters.
