Marine Forecast valid from 18/03/2024 to 19/03/2024

...CARIBBEAN SEA & LOCAL REGION.

The lower layers of the regional
atmosphere remain relatively dry.
This will support generally fair
weather conditions. Otherwise, a
tight pressure gradient in the
Caribbean will support a strong
wind pattern. However, the pressure
gradient will begin to slack during
the latter part of this forecast
period making winds also relax a
bit. Moreover, Saharan Dust is
invading te regional skies,
restricting the visibility.

Smooth seas are in place on the
protected or sheltered sites. Slight
to moderate seas are noted on the
south sides. Moderate to fairly
rough seas are noted over the
east to northwest coastal waters.
